SHONEN KNIFE

I took the Sony RX100 with me to see Shonen Knife at Bedford Esquires. They’re a Japanese pop-punk band that formed in the 80’s and I’m glad that my Dad invited me along, as I’d never come across them before.

They’re a real clash; singing about sweet treats, ramen and hot wasabi with a backdrop of rocky guitar and high-energy drums. Favourite song had to be Supergirl because the drummer absolutely killed it on that song.
